We need this data to provide Services, analyze how our customers use Services, and serve advertising.

To improve Services and serve advertising, we may share this data with third parties, including Meta, TikTok, Google, and Stripe/Paddle. We share this data to (1) analyze how users interact with Services (e.g., how often users make subscriptions,) and (2) serve and show advertising.

This Privacy Policy explains how AuraFate AI ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal data when you use our web applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the "App" or "Services").

BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU PROMISE US THAT (I) YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, AND (II) YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services and delete your account and personal data using the account settings in the App.

3. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

3.1. Data you directly provide to us

• Account Data: Email address and password (if you register an account).
• Profile Data: Name, gender, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, relationship status, and focus areas.
• Biometric-like Data: Images of your palm that you upload for analysis. Note: Palm photos are used exclusively for real-time AI analysis and are NOT stored on our servers.
• User Generated Content: Chat memories and interactions with our AI Coach.

3.2. Data we collect automatically

• Device & Location Data: IP address, time zone, device model, operating system, and language settings.
• Usage Data: Timestamps, pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns (via Cookies and Tracking URLs).

4. FOR WHAT PURPOSES WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We process your data to:

• Provide the Services: Generate your "Matrix of Destiny", astrological reports, and AI chat responses.
• Process Payments: We use Stripe and Paddle. We do not store your full credit card details.
• Improve the Services: Analyze usage trends to enhance AI accuracy and user experience.
• Serve Advertising: Deliver personalized ads via third-party networks (e.g., Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel).

5. WITH WHOM WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Vercel, Supabase), payment processors (Stripe, Paddle), and email delivery services (Resend).
• Advertising Partners: Meta, TikTok, and Google for analytics and marketing.
• Legal Compliance: If required by law, subpoena, or other legal process.

6. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS (GDPR & UK GDPR)

7. DATA RETENTION & SECURITY

We retain your Account Data for as long as your account is active. Chat memories for VIP users are fully encrypted and automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity. Palm photos are processed in memory and immediately discarded.

We implement industry-standard encryption (HTTPS, AES-256) to protect your data, but no electronic transmission is 100% secure.

8. PRIVACY NOTICE FOR U.S. RESIDENTS (CCPA/CPRA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related state laws, U.S. residents have specific rights regarding their personal information:

• Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of data we collect.
• Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of your personal information.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not traditionally "sell" your data for money, but sharing data with advertising networks (like Meta/TikTok) may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under CCPA. You can opt-out via our Cookie Settings.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our Service is strictly for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.
